With a relaxed laid back sense of style a coastal living kitchen is a mix of both traditional & contemporary features. The shaker door is the most common style that embodies this lifestyle. Using satin or semi gloss 2 pak polyurethane cabinetry and a mix of timber or stone bench tops will evoke the coastal look. You can choose colours from hazy shades to turquoise blues which will inspire the seaside kitchen.
Country Kitchens
Country Kitchens are welcoming, and give a warm feel to the home. Country kitchens can either be the traditional timber style or a painted modern style. Using glazed cabinets with wire or metal inserts, woven baskets, decorative shelving and hand crafted finishes, embodies a farmhouse lifestyle where hearty roast dinners are made. Benches are either solid timber or a mix of both granite and marble, this gives you the warm country feel.
Contemporary Kitchens
Contemporary Kitchens are described as sleek, modern, minimalist and geometric. Materials often are man-made rather than natural. Working with stainless steel, laminate, frosted glass, concrete, mirror, aluminium and glass splash backs. Contemporary kitchens are all about simplicity using matt, gloss or woodgrain finishes with innovated handle-less doors.
